The Short Version
The Dam Plumber repairs and installs faucets and sinks in kitchens, bathrooms and commercial restrooms across Henderson, Boulder City, Las Vegas and northwest Arizona. A lot of faucet problems are a cartridge or a washer, and we'll fix it that way when that's all it needs. When it's time for new, you pick the faucet and we put it in, at a price you know before we start.
Faucet Repair: Drips, Leaks and Low Pressure
A dripping faucet is usually a worn cartridge, washer or O-ring. Those are parts. We swap them, and you're done paying for water going down the drain.
Low pressure at one faucet is often the aerator or the cartridge packed with minerals. Hard water does that out here. If you're cleaning crust off every faucet in the house, a water softener is worth a look.
Leaks under the sink
Water in the cabinet usually comes from a supply line, the faucet connections, or the drain trap. We find which one, fix it, and check the rest while we're under there.
Shut-off valves that won't shut off
Old valves under the sink get stuck open or drip once you turn them. If yours won't close, we'll replace it so the next repair doesn't mean shutting off the whole house. More on our shut-off valve page.

Kitchen and Bathroom Sink Installation
Putting in a new sink or faucet? If you already bought it, that's fine. We'll install it. If you haven't, we'll give you some options and tell you what we'd put in our own house.
A new faucet is a good time to replace old supply lines and valves, since you're already under there. We'll tell you if yours are fine, too. Nobody here works on commission, so there's no reason for us to push parts you don't need.
- Kitchen sinks and faucets, including undermount and workstation sinks
- Bathroom sinks, vanities and faucets
- Filtered water faucets and under-sink systems (see [water filtration](/water-filtration/))
- New supply lines and shut-off valves
- Sink drains and traps hooked up and leak-checked

Commercial Faucet and Sink Repair
We came out of commercial plumbing before we started The Dam Plumber, so restroom lavatories, break-room sinks and floor sinks are regular work for us. A leaking faucet in a public restroom doesn't get better on its own.
If a commercial sink keeps backing up, the problem is usually further down the line. We'll clear the drain and tell you what we found. For bigger jobs, see our commercial plumbing page.

How a Faucet or Sink Repair Call Works
You call, we come out, and we look at it. We'll tell you in plain English whether it's a repair or a replacement, and what we'd do if it was our house.
We give you options at more than one price point. If a small part fixes it, that's what we'll tell you. Veterans get 15% off, and Boulder City senior center members get a discount too. See our coupons page.
Then you get the price up front. If the old faucet fights us coming off, the price is still the price. We finish, you run the water and check it, and we're done.
Water coming out from under the sink and you can't get the valve closed? Shut off the main and call. We run 24/7 emergency service. We give you the after-hours rate on the phone before we head out.

Common Questions
Faucet & Sink Repair FAQs
Straight answers to what people ask us about faucets and sinks.
Should I repair or replace my faucet?
If it's a cartridge, washer or O-ring, repair it. If the faucet body is cracked or corroded, or you just want a new look, replace it. We'll tell you which one makes sense.
Will you install a faucet or sink I already bought?
Yes. If you've got it, we'll put it in and check the supply lines and valves while we're there.
Why is the water pressure low at just one faucet?
Usually the aerator or cartridge is clogged with minerals from hard water. If every faucet in the house is low, it could be the pressure regulator or the main line, and we'll check that too.
Will the price change once you start?
No. You get an upfront price before we start, and if the job goes south on us, it's still the same price.
Do you warranty the work?
Yes. Workmanship is warrantied for one year in Nevada and two years in Arizona, per each state's rules.
