The Short Version

The Dam Plumber is a full-service plumbing shop based in Boulder City, working across Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and northwest Arizona. We handle the everyday plumbing calls and the bigger jobs too. You get options, an honest opinion, and a price before we start that doesn't change if the job gets harder.

General Plumbing: The Everyday Stuff

Most of what we do is service calls. Something's leaking, something won't shut off, something needs hooking up. We come out, figure out what it is, and fix it.

We don't send you to three different companies for three different problems. If it's plumbing, we do it.

Here's how it goes. You call, and during business hours you'll usually talk to one of us. We come out, look at it, and tell you what's wrong in plain English. You get the price before we start. We do the work, you check that everything's good to go, and we're on to the next one.

General Plumbing Done Like It's Our Own House

We treat our customers like family, and we treat their house like it's our own. That means we tell you the truth about the repair, even when the truth is "this is a cheap fix."

You get options. A temporary fix, a repair, dig it up, or replace it. We'll tell you which ones are a good idea and which ones aren't, and what we'd do if it was our house. Then you pick.

Nobody here gets paid on commission. Everybody's hourly, so we don't have to sell you anything. We're not going to walk through your house nitpicking.

Bigger Plumbing Jobs Too

General plumbing covers a lot of ground, and so do we. We do repiping, sewer repair where we dig it up and put in new pipe, and gas lines. People are surprised we do gas. We do.

We've installed a walk-in tub a customer bought secondhand, replaced a water line from the street to a fourplex, and run new plumbing on new construction. Big or small, the process is the same: a straight answer and a price you can hold us to.

A full repipe isn't always the right call. We'll give you options at more than one price point.

Hard water is part of life out here, too. It crusts up faucets, wears out toilet parts and shortens the life of water heaters. If you're fighting it all over the house, ask us about a water softener or water filtration. We handle both, and we'll tell you honestly whether you need one.

Will you try to sell me stuff I don't need?

No. Nobody here is paid on commission. Everybody's hourly, so there's no reason for us to push anything. We'll give you options and tell you what we'd do.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Nevada C-1 License #0091779 with a $207,000 bid limit, and Arizona ROC #365536 for commercial and residential plumbing.
