Plumber in North Las Vegas, NV

A Family Plumbing Crew That Makes the Trip Across the Valley

We'll be straight with you: North Las Vegas is on the far side of the valley from our home base in Boulder City. We still make the trip, and we're glad to. The Dam Plumber is a family shop. We do the work ourselves, and we answer our own phone, day or night.

We take calls all over North Las Vegas, from Aliante and Eldorado to the Craig Ranch area and the older neighborhoods closer to downtown North Las Vegas. When you call, we'll tell you honestly when we can get there. When we show up, it goes the way it always does. We find the problem, give you a price before we start, lay out your options, and knock it out. No commission, no upsell, no walking the house looking for more work. It's the same way we'd want a plumber to treat our own house, and every Nevada job carries a one-year workmanship warranty.

How It Works

Our Step-by-Step Process in North Las Vegas

Every service call we run in North Las Vegas works the same way. Five steps, no surprises.

  1. 1

    Call us

Call 725-254-0089. Monday through Friday, 8 to 4:30, you'll usually get one of us on the phone. After hours, you still get one of us. We run 24/7 emergency service and he answers it himself. Tell us what's wrong and where you are, and we'll give you an honest idea of when we can be there. If water's running where it shouldn't, we'll help you get it shut off in the meantime. Veterans, tell us on the call. You get 15% off.

  2. 2

We come out and take a look

We show up, find the problem, and explain it in plain English. If it's a drain or sewer line, we can put a camera down it so you see what we see. We look at what you called us about. We don't wander through the house nitpicking to find more to sell you. If it's a leak in a wall or under the slab, we find it first, so we only open up what we have to.

  3. 3

    Upfront price, and your options

You get the price before we start. If the job turns harder once we're into it, it's still the same price. You'll also get options: a temporary fix, a repair, or dig it up and replace it. We'll tell you which ones make sense and which don't, and what we'd do if it was our house. Then you decide. Nobody here is on commission, so we're not steering you toward the biggest ticket. A full repipe or a new sewer line all at once isn't the right call for every house. We'll tell you what a temporary fix buys you and what the full job looks like, so you can plan.

  4. 4

    We knock it out

You give us the go-ahead and we get it done. We get in, do it right, and don't mess around. We treat our customers like family and your house like it's our own. If anything comes up while we're working, you'll hear about it from us right then. If insurance is involved, we'll work with your insurance company.

  5. 5

You check that it's good to go

Before we pack up, you check the work. Run the water, flush the toilet, feel the hot water. We want you to see that it's fixed. Nevada jobs come with a one-year workmanship warranty, so if something we did isn't right, call us and we'll come back and fix it. Questions about the work? Ask. We'd rather explain it twice.

Why Us

Why Choose The Dam Plumber in North Las Vegas

There are closer plumbers to North Las Vegas than a shop from Boulder City. Here's why people call us anyway.

  • You talk to the people doing the work. We have about 15 years in plumbing and answer our own phone, 2 a.m. included. Learn about us.
  • Honest answers. Everybody's hourly and nobody's on commission. If a clogged drain just needs clearing, that's what we'll do.
  • Options for every budget. A leak or an old line doesn't automatically mean a full repipe. We'll give you the choices, from a temporary fix to digging up and replacing the sewer line.
  • Gas, water heaters and more. People are surprised we do gas lines. We also handle water heaters, softeners and commercial work.

Got an older house with cast-iron drains? Read why cast iron drains fail in older homes, then contact us and we'll take a look.

Licensed in Nevada: C-1 #0091779, bid limit $207,000. 1-year workmanship warranty on Nevada jobs.

Why We Love Working in North Las Vegas, NV

North Las Vegas has plenty going for it, and we like working up here.

  • Craig Ranch Regional Park. A big city park with trails, sports fields and an amphitheater.
  • Aliante Nature Discovery Park. A lake, walking paths and a playground in the middle of Aliante.
  • Nellis Air Force Base. Right on the city's east side, and a big part of the community.

It's a growing city with a lot of new homes and a lot of old ones, and we're happy to help keep them running.

North Las Vegas Plumbing FAQs

Do you serve North Las Vegas?

Yes. We're based in Boulder City, which is on the far side of the valley, but we take calls across North Las Vegas. When you call, we'll tell you honestly when we can get there.

Can I get emergency plumbing in North Las Vegas after hours?

Yes. We're 24/7 and we answer the phone ourselves. We give you the after-hours rate before we head out, and we'll tell you that before we head out. Our goal is to be on site within the hour. See our emergency plumber page.

Is the price going to change once you start?

No. You get an upfront price before any work starts. If the job goes south on us, it's still the same price.

Are you licensed in Nevada?

Yes. We hold a Nevada C-1 Plumbing & Heating license, #0091779, with a $207,000 bid limit. Nevada work comes with a one-year workmanship warranty.

Why is my North Las Vegas water heater popping and rumbling?

Usually it's sediment. Our valley water is hard, and the minerals settle in the bottom of the tank over time. Sometimes the tank has life left and sometimes it's done. We'll look at it and tell you which, and a water softener can help slow the buildup. Veterans get 15% off, too. See our coupons page.
